Vespers Tonight - Vespers and Exposition with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will be tonight from 5:30pm–6:30pm. Vespers will be sung recto tono.
Seminary Burse - There will be a second collection today for Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary, the FSSP seminary in Denton, Nebraska. Checks should be made out to “Mater Dei Community.”
Holy Name Society - New Member Signup - The members of the Holy Name Society invite all men of the Mater Dei Community to join them in honoring the Holy Name of Jesus. A member of the Holy Name Society will be in the vestibule after Mass today, December 10th, for sign ups and additional information. Or contact Bill Mansell at 717-683-2971.
Rectory Purchased - On November 10 we closed on a Rectory. Information about this was mailed to all registered parishioners last week. If for some reason you did not receive this information please take a brochure as you leave church today. Father Eichman is happy to answer any questions concerning this purchase.
New Building Fund - We are beginning a monthly collection for a new Building Fund. The purpose of this fund will be to support the maintenance and development of all property under the care of Mater Dei. This collection will be taken on the fourth Sunday of each month beginning Sunday, December 24.
Bishop Gainer Visit - 100th Anniversary of St Lawrence - On Tuesday, April 24, at 7pm Bishop Gainer will offer a Pontifical High Mass celebrating the 100th anniversary of the dedication of St. Lawrence Church in April of 1918. More details about this Mass and 100th anniversary celebration will be coming.
Adult Convert / Adult Confirmation - Any adults interested in coming into the Catholic Church or receiving the sacrament of Confirmation and those interested in brushing up on their Faith: Adult Catechism classes will be every other week at 7pm in the social hall. Next class will be on Thursday, December 21.
Young Adult Group - Next Meeting - The Young Adult Group will meet in the Social Hall on Friday, December 15 following 6:30pm Mass for a potluck and games. For more information contact Fr Franco at Fr.Franco@MaterDeiPA.com. Come and bring a friend!
2018 FSSP Calendars - 2018 FSSP Calendars are now available in the back of the church for $15 per calendar while supplies last.
Youth Group - Gingerbread House Competition - Our next Youth Group event will take place on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm in the social hall at St. Lawrence. All attending will participate in a Gingerbread House competition followed by a talk by one of our priests and the Rosary. Please bring a snack and a friend!
