Clarification—Singing by the Faithful - There is some confusion about when the faithful should sing along with the choir and when they should not during Mass. There are two particular times that you are encouraged to join the choir:
Regarding the other pieces of chant which are sung during Mass such as the Introit and the Kyrie, do not sing along. Those parts are more difficult to sing properly, and require the practice given to them by the choir members in order to be done as well as possible.
School Building / Courtyard Use - We have use of the classroom areas of the school building for events and classes. Outside of these times, we ask parents to keep their children from roaming through the building. However, now that the weather has warmed up, feel free to take your children into the small courtyard between the church and the school building if you would like.
