Thousands of unborn babies are killed at this facility every year.  All are encouraged to come and pray for women to choose life and for an end to abortion.  One of our Priests will lead us in prayer.

Baby Bottle Fundraiser - Today we are beginning a fundraiser for Undefeated Courage, a Pro-Life group.  The funds raised will assist Undefeated Courage in purchasing a mobile ultrasound unit.  Empty baby bottles are available in the back of church to be taken home and filled with loose change, cash, or a check, and then returned to the church by the end of June.

Pro-Life Federation Dinner - The PA Pro-Life Federation annual fundraising dinner is Thursday, Sept 29, 2016 at the Camp Hill Hotel Radisson.  Archbishop Charles Chaput will be the guest speaker.  Cost is $50 and checks should be made payable to Mater Dei Community and given to Christina Stoner or mailed to the Office. Our priests will be joining us.  Contact panisangelicus46@gmail.com or visit www.paprolife.org/state-events for more information.

New Ciborium - We are in the process of purchasing and replating a large ciborium.  If you are interested in being a benefactor for this sacred vessel please speak with Fr. Eichman.

Father’s Day Novena - The Father’s Day cards are available for the novena of Masses which will be offered June 19 – 27.  Fill out the names of the people you wish to be remembered in the novena of Masses and place your cards into the collection basket today, or mail them to the Office by Wednesday, June  15th.

Children Chant Opportunity - Parents save the dates: from August 1 - 5 there will be an opportunity for children of the parish to learn to sing Gregorian Chant and other Sacred Music.  Details about a four day 9am to noon camp will be available soon.

Church Cleaning - Volunteers are still needed to help clean the church.  Your commitment as a volunteer would be to help  your team of  five other volunteers to clean the church on one day per month (Friday evening or Saturday morning) for approximately two hours.  A sign-up sheet is in the back of Church.  Thank you for your generosity.

Rosary after 10AM Mass - For the month of July, a Rosary will be offered beginning approximately 10 minutes after the 10am Mass has finished.  This is being done on a trial basis.  Depending on the number of participants this Rosary may or may not continue after July.

Wednesday Evening Compline - On Wednesday evenings the priests usually sing Compline (the final hour of the Divine Office) following the 7:30pm Mass.  The faithful in attendance are welcome to join in singing, and books are provided.  Beginning this Wednesday evening, one of the priests will lead a 20 minute practice at 7:00pm and go through a portion of the chant to be sung at Compline that night.  The practice will be held in the second classroom.  Each Wednesday that we will have one of these practices it will be announced in the previous Sunday’s bulletin.

Statute of Limitations - State lawmakers are considering legislation that would retroactively nullify the statute of limitations for filing a civil lawsuit alleging childhood abuse.  This proposed legislation would only apply to private and nonprofit organizations, but not public schools or government agencies (83% of PA students attend public schools).  A statement from the diocese regarding this is available in the back of Church.  Also, please consider visiting www.PACatholic.org to send a message to your legislator that these cases should be dealt with comprehensively and fairly.
