Building Fund Collection Today - There will be a collection for the building fund today.  This fund is used to pay of the debt on the new rectory and for future care of Mater Dei property.

Sung Vespers—Tonight - Tonight we will have Sung Vespers with Ceremony followed by Exposition & Benediction from 5:30pm-6:30pm.

Homeschool Co-op this Fall - We are currently planning the fall semester of our homeschool co-op.  This will be the fourth year of our co-op and the second consecutive year that it will include the chorister program. Catechism Classes - Registration for our Catechism program is now open.  Register by going to MaterDeiPA.com and following the link near the top of the page.  A mandatory parent meeting will be held on Sunday, September 23rd at 9:15AM.  The first day of classes will be on October 7th.  All students must be registered parishioners of Mater Dei.

Please Pray for our Vocations - Please pray for our seminarian, James, as he enters his third year of seminary at the FSSP seminary of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Denton, Nebraska.  The fall semester for the seminary begins this week.

Adult Convert Classes Beginning - The Convert classes will be offered  by Fr Franco on Thursday evenings at 7pm beginning September 13.  They will be given in the downstairs Social Hall.  Classes are open

Choir Season Beginning Again - Bis orat qui bene cantat (he who sings well prays twice)! The new choir season approaches quickly. Beginning on September 2nd, the 10 am Sunday Mass will again be the weekly Sung Mass. The first choir rehearsal of the season will be Thursday, August 30th. New choir members are always welcome. You can send any questions to music@materdeipa.com, or show up for rehearsal on the 30th. Rehearsals are every Thursday evening. Men in the schola begin rehearsal at 6:30 pm, and the mixed choir rehearsal begins at 7 pm. Rehearsals take place in the main classroom, so please come to the double doors on Buttonwood Street.
