Homeschool Co-op this Fall - We are currently planning the fall semester of our homeschool co-op. This will be the fourth year of our co-op and the second consecutive year that it will include the chorister program. Food for Needy - In the basket behind the last pew, the Holy Name Society collects non-perishable food for the Silence of Mary homes. Your gifts of food help these homes in a significant way.
Catechism Classes - Registration for our Catechism program is now open. Register by going to MaterDeiPA.com and following the link provided. A mandatory parent meeting will be held on Sunday, September 23rd at 9:15AM. The first day of classes will be on October 7th. All students must be registered parishioners of Mater Dei.

Mater Dei parishioner, Robert Walk, has generously offered that anyone who mentions Mater Dei during their haircut with him will have their payment go directly to the support of Mater Dei. Robert, who goes by "RB," is the owner/sole barber at RB's Barbershop in Marysville, PA at 111 Valley St. Ext. Appointments are now available, but walk-ins are still accepted. St. Jude Devotion—This Wedensday - This Wednesday, August 22, we will have our Saint Jude Devotion. Please join us and bring your most desperate intentions to Saint Jude.
Choir Season Beginning Again - Bis orat qui bene cantat (he who sings well prays twice)! The new choir season approaches quickly. Beginning on September 2nd, the 10 am Sunday Mass will again be the weekly Sung Mass. The first choir rehearsal of the season will be Thursday, August 30th. New choir members are always welcome. You can send any questions to music@materdeipa.com, or show up for rehearsal on the 30th. Rehearsals are every Thursday evening. Men in the schola begin rehearsal at 6:30 pm, and the mixed choir rehearsal begins at 7 pm. Rehearsals take place in the main classroom, so please come to the double doors on Buttonwood Street.

Next St Tarcisius Meeting - Our next Saint Tarsicius Meeting (ages 5—12) will be on Saturday, September 1. The evening will begin with a potluck. Baby Bottle Donations - The Board of Directors of Undefeated Courage would like to thank the parishioners of Mater Dei for their generous donation to our Blessing Bag ministry. The blessing bag is a valuable tool used in our outreach to women and men in crisis during our time on the sidewalk near Planned Parenthood.
