Stations of the Cross
Stations of the Cross will be every Friday of Lent.
Additional Lunchtime Confessions for Lent
We will hear Confessions from 12 Noon to 1pm every Tuesday and Wednesday of Lent.
Building Fund
Today we will have a second collection for the Building Fund.
Sung Vespers Tonight
Sung Vespers with organ accompaniment and Exposition with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will be tonight from 5:30pm–6:30pm. Sheets will be provided for all to follow along.
Feast of the Annunciation
This Monday, March 25th, we will have a 7am Low Mass and 7pm Sung Mass for the Feast of the Annunciation (a holy day of obligation).
Men's Schola Opportunities
The Mater Dei Schola is seeking additional chanters. Please consider joining your brothers in singing to the glory of God in the Church's ancient tradition of Gregorian Chant. Ability to read music is not required, but must be able to match pitch and carry a tune accurately. We are also actively seeking a capable tenor to join the mixed choir. Hymn of the Week
Each Friday afternoon we publish a short 3 minute video on a hymn for the upcoming Sunday. The videos provide liturgical, historical, and musical insights, and introduce the melody of the hymn to help you sing along. Church Safety Workshop Next Sunday
There will be a 30 minute Active Shooter Preparedness workshop in the church following both Masses on March 31. These workshops are provided as a prudent action to enhance the safety of our community and are not in response to any increased or specific threat. Parents should consider whether the attendance of their children is appropriate.
