Coffee & Donuts

We will have coffee & donuts  in the downstairs Social Hall following the 10am Mass.

Mother's Group Potluck

A group of mothers will be gathering on Saturday, May 18 following the 9am Mass for breakfast and to socialize.  For more information contact Ana Julien at monana87@gmail.

Mother’s Day Carnations

Today after both Masses, the Junior Sodality will have carnations available.  Donations will be gladly accepted. All proceeds will be given to the Pro-Life group, Pennsylvanians for Human Life.

Vespers Tonight

Vespers and Exposition with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will be tonight from 5:30pm– 6:30pm.

Seminary Burse

We will have a second collection this morning for the Seminary Burse. This burse supports the FSSP seminary of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Denton, NE.

Youth Group — Regatta Night!

Our next Youth Group event will be on Saturday, May 18, 6pm - 9pm. Join us for our annual Regatta Night. The Youth Group is open to people ages 13 - 18. For more info contact  youthgroup@materdeipa.com

Girls’ Junior Sodality Meeting

This month’s Junior Sodality will be meeting on Sunday, May 19, after the 10:00 AM Mass on the 2nd floor in classroom #3.  All young ladies age 9 thru high school are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Contact Jill Lear with any questions at jilllear@hotmail.com.

First Communion

Next Sunday our 1st Communicants will be receiving their First Holy Communion at the 10am Mass.  Please keep them in your prayers.

Hand Missals For Sale

1962 Daily Hand Missal are once again available for purchase in the church office for $60.  We offer the Missal published in 2008 by Baronius Press in association with the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter.

Holy Communion Procedure

When receiving Holy Communion, please use the entire width of the Communion Rail cushion, from end to end.  Often, there is space left unused on the ends.  If you see an empty space, fill it.

St. Jude Devotion

This Wednesday, May 15th, we will have our special St Jude devotion.

  • 6:00pm - Holy Hour with Benediction
  • 7:00pm - Low Mass with Hymns

Following Mass - Prayers & Litany to St. Jude & veneration of St. Jude relic

Rosary for the Unborn

On next Saturday, May 18, we will pray our monthly 15 mystery Rosary and Litany to the Sacred Heart for the protection of the unborn.  This will take place immediately following the 9am Mass in the church.

End of Choir Season

June 23 will the be last Sunday of Choir season.    Throughout the summer, the 10am Sunday Mass will be a Low Mass with hymns.  The choir will resume singing the first Sunday of September.  We thank the choir members for their dedication to the Sacred Liturgy and the beauty that they add.
