Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary

February 2, 2020

Coffee & Donuts

We will have coffee and donuts downstairs in the social hall following both the 8am and 10am Masses.

Personal Candles to be Blessed

Bring your candles that you would like blessed up to the table near St Joseph’s altar by no later than 9:50am. Following Mass these will be available for pickup.

Blessing of Candles Today

Today prior to the 10am Mass we will have the annual blessing of candles. After the candles are blessed, everyone will receive a candle at the communion rail. We will then have a procession around the church, weather permitting, in which we will carry our lit candles. Mass will follow once we return to the church. There will not be the usual first Sunday exposition and benediction after Mass today.

First Friday Devotion

This Friday we will have our First Friday Devotion following the 6:30pm Mass. We will pray a novena and a Litany to the Sacred Heart of Jesus followed by Sung Compline with organ accompaniment.
