Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday—Palms - Palms will only be blessed and distributed at the 12 Noon Solemn High Mass today.  Palms will be available for pickup in the church throughout the week while supplies last.

Diocesan Annual Campaign - Pledge cards for the Diocesan Annual Campaign are in the back of the Church. You can fill out the pledge card and place it in the Collection basket or mail it to the office. The community must cover our assessed goal.  Anything in excess remains with Mater Dei. Thank you for your generosity.

Livestream Schedule for Holy Week & Easter - Palm Sunday - 12:00 Noon - Sung Mass with Blessing of Palms & Procession

  • Holy Thursday - 7:00 PM - Solemn Mass
  • Good Friday - 3:00 PM - Solemn Liturgy
  • Easter Sunday - 12:00 Noon - Sung Mass

Please note: The Easter Vigil liturgy will not be livestreamed.

Confessions During Holy Week - Please remember that opportunities for Confession will be slightly limited during Holy Week.

  • Palm Sunday: No Confessions before or during the 12 noon Solemn High Mass.
  • Holy Thursday: No Confessions before or during the 7pm Solemn High Mass. Confessions after Mass until all are heard.
  • Good Friday: No Confessions before or during the 3pm Solemn Liturgy. Confessions afterward and during 7pm Stations of the Cross.
  • Holy Saturday: No Confessions before, during or after the 10pm Easter Vigil.

Tenebrae Rebroadcast - Last year's livestreams of Tenebrae will be made available this week on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday mornings on our Facebook page.

Young Adult Group Monthly Brunches and Bible Study - For any young adults (18-35) interested, the Mater Dei Young Adult Group meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month for brunch at the Squeaky Rail Diner (505 N Enola Rd, Enola, PA 17025)  around 1:40pm (after the noon Mass).  Also, any young adult of the parish is welcome to join a monthly virtual Genesis Bible study hosted by Fr. Building Fund - Today we will have our monthly Building Fund Collection. Thank you for your continued generosity.

Donations Needed for Interfaith Shelter for Homeless Families - Interfaith Shelter for Homeless Families (a Catholic Charities residential program in suburban Harrisburg) is in need of the following donations: ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, kidney beans (15.5 ounce cans), paper plates/cups/bowls (no Styrofoam please), laundry detergents/bleach/dryer sheets, body lotion, non-contact infrared thermometers, and disposable masks. Donations can be taken to the Diocesan Center (4800 Union Deposit Rd.) or to the shelter (120 Willow Rd.) in Harrisburg. Please call in advance if bringing items to the shelter: 717-652-8740.
