Coffee & Donuts - Join us after the 10am Mass today for Coffee and Donuts in the Social Hall in the basement of the School Building behind the Church.

Children’s Chant Camp - This summer,  July 30 - August 3, we will host a chant camp for children led by Music Director Patrick Torsell.  He will have three other instructors assisting him including Rick Wheeler, the director of the beautiful choir of our FSSP parish in Denver, CO.  Online registration is still open for parishioners and non-parishioners.   Direct any questions to Patrick Torsell at Music@MaterDeiPA.com

Father’s Day Mass Novena Begins Today - The Father’s Day Mass Novena begins today, June 17 and ends on Tuesday, the 25th. 

This Wednesday—St. Jude Devotion

  • 6:00pm - Holy Hour with Benediction
  • 7:00pm - Low Mass with Hymns
  • Following Mass - Prayers & Litany to St. Jude & veneration of St. Jude relic.

Choir Season Ending - Last Sunday was our last Sunday of Choir season.    Throughout the summer, the 10am Sunday Mass will be a Low Mass with hymns.  The choir will resume singing the first Sunday of September.  We thank the choir members for their dedication to the Sacred Liturgy and the beauty that they add.

Church Cleaners Needed - We are still in need of 6 new volunteers to help clean the church.  Currently there are about 4 members in each of the five cleaning crews.  But more are needed, so please help if you can.  Contact Elaine Rainey at Seabhj3@gmail.com

St. Tarcisius—Next Meeting August - There will be no St. Tarcisius meeting in July.  Our next meeting will be on Saturday, August 4.  Contact Jill Lear for more information at SaintTarcisiusGroup@MaterDeiPA.com

Meal Train - Calling all those who want to grow in love of neighbor! We are starting a meal train for those in our parish who need meals - new mommas, those in an emergency, etc. If you are interested in helping cook occasionally or know someone who needs help, please e-mail Alyssa Showers at pianoteacher87@gmail.com

 Ushers Needed - If you are interested in ushering for our Sunday Masses please contact Father Eichman.

Parish Picnic—Feast of St. Lawrence - Our parish summer picnic will be on Sunday, August 5, following the 10am Mass.  It will be at Adam Ricci Park.  More information and volunteer opportunities will be coming soon.

 Adult Chant Workshop - Join Mater Dei Music Director, Patrick Torsell, for a one-day intensive Gregorian Chant Workshop at St Lawrence geared toward adults wishing for an introduction to reading, interpreting, singing, and directing Gregorian Chant! This workshop is open to anyone interested in Gregorian Chant over 18 and mature teens accompanied by an adult. Participants are invited and encouraged to sing for a High Mass the next day, Sunday, 7/22, at 10am.  Registration fee is $20, and a light lunch will be provided.  To register or to inquire further, please email music@materdeipa.com.

 Young Ladies Tea Coming Up - Girls of the parish (ages 13-18) are invited to a morning  Tea at St. Lawrence with a talk from Fr Eichman on Monday, July 9.  For more details or to RSVP contact us at YouthGroup@MaterDeiPA.com

Youth Group—Bonfire & Farewell to Seniors - Teenagers (ages 13-18) are invited to join our Youth Group on Saturday, July 14 from 6pm - 9pm as we say goodbye to our senior graduates.  Contact  us at YouthGroup@MaterDeiPA.com for information.

 Parking - Do not park in the spaces behind or beside the gray building on the corner of Front St. and State St (407 Front Street).  The hours of operation for the new lessee’s includes evenings and weekends.  The other parking spaces formerly used do remain available as before.  Contact the office with any questions or see the diagram in the church vestibule.

RB’s Barbershop - Benefits Mater Dei - Mater Dei parishioner, Robert Walk, has generously offered that anyone who mentions Mater Dei during their haircut with him will have their payment go straight back to Mater Dei.  Robert, who goes by "RB," is the owner/sole barber at RB's Barbershop in Marysville, PA at 111 Valley St. Ext.  Walk-ins are preferred.  Hours can be found at the shop's Facebook page: www.facebook.com/BarberRB2015  Phone: 717.576.8205
