Coffee & Donuts – Cancelled – There are no coffee & donuts after Mass this morning.

New Building Fund Collection Today – We are beginning a monthly collection for our new Building Fund.  The purpose of this fund will be to support the maintenance and development of all property under the care of Mater Dei.  This collection will be taken on the fourth Sunday of each month beginning today.

Midnight Mass—No Confessions – Confessions will not be heard before or during Midnight Mass.

Parish Christmas/Epiphany Dinner & Party – Tuesday, January 16 – Our Christmas / Epiphany Party will be at St. Lawrence on January 16 from 5:30pm—8:30pm.  The evening will include Vespers, dinner, a Christmas play and King Cake.  More details and a signup sheet for volunteers will be available next Sunday.

No Vespers Today – We will not have Vespers and Benediction today, December 24.  The next Vespers Sunday will be January 14, 2018.

 Sung Mass—Feast of St. Stephen – We will have a 10am Sung Mass on Tuesday, December 26 for the feast of St. Stephen, the first martyr.  We will also have our regular 7:10am Low Mass.

 No Masses – January 10 – 12 – All Masses and devotions are cancelled January 10, 11 and 12.  The priests will be away attending a convocation in preparation for next summer’s General Chapter for the FSSP.

Bishop Gainer Visit – 100th Anniversary of St Lawrence – On Tuesday, April 24, at 7pm Bishop Gainer will offer a Pontifical High Mass celebrating the 100th anniversary of the dedication of St. Lawrence Church in April of 1918.  More details about this Mass and 100th anniversary celebration will be coming.

 2018 FSSP Calendars – 2018 FSSP Calendars are now available in the back of the church for $15 per calendar while supplies last.

 Online Giving – You are now able to visit our website to make a one time gift to Mater Dei or to set up recurring monthly offerings for both the General Fund and the Building Fund.  Visit and click “Donate.”

RB’s Barbershop – Benefits Mater Dei – Mater Dei parishioner, Robert Walk, has generously offered that anyone who mentions Mater Dei during their haircut with him will have their payment go straight back to Mater Dei.  Robert, who goes by “RB,” is the owner/sole barber at RB’s Barbershop in Marysville, PA at 111 Valley St. Ext.  Walk-ins are preferred.  Hours can be found at the shop’s Facebook page: Phone: 717 – 576 – 8205

Illegal Street Parking Behind the Church – It was brought to our attention that vehicles are being parked illegally in the alley behind St. Lawrence.  Please show consideration for our neighbors by obeying the parking signs.  Remember, if legal parking spaces are filled there is parking available which is accessed via Academy Alley just south of State Street.  See the sign in the back of the church for which spaces we are permitted to use.  Thank you for cooperating.
