2018 FSSP Calendars - FSSP Calendars are available in the back of the church for $15 per calendar while supplies last.

Feast of the Immaculate Conception - Holy Day of Obligation - The Feast of the Immaculate Conception will be on Friday, December 8.  Our Friday Mass and Adoration  schedule will be altered slightly as follows.

  • 7:00 am - Low Mass
  • 6:00 pm - Simple Adoration
  • 7:00 pm - Sung Mass

Candlelight Rorate Mass - On Saturday, December 9th, we will have a special 6:00am Sung Mass. This Rorate Mass is lit only by candlelight. Because it is a votive Mass in Mary’s honor, white vestments are worn instead of Advent violet. In the dimly lit setting, we will prepare to honor the Light of the world, Who is soon to be born, and offer praise to God for the gift of Our Lady. As the Mass proceeds and sunrise approaches, the church becomes progressively brighter, illumined by the sun as our Faith is illumined by Christ.

St. Tarcisius Meeting - Our next St. Tarcisius Meeting is Saturday, December 2nd at 5:00pm.  The group is for children ages 5 – 12 and meets monthly in order to train the children to meditate.  Each meeting includes a short, priest led meditation, the rosary, and a potluck dinner.  For information concerning the upcoming December meeting please contact Jill Lear at SaintTarcisiusGroup@MaterDeiPA.com

Stay Home if Sick - If you are sick and contagious, it is not necessary to come to Mass.  In such instances, it is an act of charity toward your fellow parishioners, especially those more susceptible to illness, to remain at home.

Sacramentals for Expectant Mothers - There are certain Sacramentals in the Roman Ritual through which we request God’s blessing that an expecting mother can have a safe delivery and also the grace of having her child baptized.  The priests would be happy to provide the following to any expecting lady at her request.  Please do not hesitate to ask.

  • Blessing of Expectant Mother - Can be given at any time during pregnancy.
  • Candle in Honor of St. Raymond Nonnatus - To be taken home and burned, and especially when the time of delivery approaches.
  • St. Torellus Water - Special Holy Water which can be sprinkled, used to bless oneself, drunk, or used in small amounts in cooking.
