Third Sunday of Advent

Coffee  & Donuts - Today we will have Coffee and Donuts after the  10am Mass in the downstairs social hall.  Please join us.

2nd Collection Next Sunday - New Building Fund - We are beginning a monthly collection for a new Building Fund.  The purpose of this fund will be to support the maintenance and development of all property under the care of Mater Dei.  This collection will be taken on the fourth Sunday of each month beginning Sunday, December 24.

Illegal Street Parking Behind the Church - It was brought to our attention that vehicles are being parked illegally in the alley behind St. Lawrence.  Please show consideration for our neighbors by obeying the parking signs.  Remember, if legal parking spaces are filled there is parking available which is accessed via Academy Alley just south of State Street.  See the sign in the back of the church for which spaces we are permitted to use.  Thank you for cooperating.

No Vespers - Sunday, December 24 - We will not have Vespers and Benediction on Sunday, December 24.  The next Vespers Sunday will be January 14, 2018.

 Rectory Purchased - On November 10 we closed on a Rectory.  Information about this was mailed to all registered parishioners last week.  If for some reason you did not receive this information  please take a brochure as you leave church today.  Father Eichman is happy to answer any questions concerning this purchase.

Sung Mass—Feast of St. Stephen - We will have a 10am Sung Mass on Tuesday, December 26 for the feast of St. Stephen, the first martyr.  We will also have are regular 7:10am Low Mass.

 Bishop Gainer Visit - 100th Anniversary of St Lawrence -On Tuesday, April 24, at 7pm Bishop Gainer will offer a Pontifical High Mass celebrating the 100th anniversary of the dedication of St. Lawrence Church in April of 1918.  More details about this Mass and 100th anniversary celebration will be coming.

 Adult Convert / Adult Confirmation - Any adults interested in coming into the Catholic Church or receiving the sacrament of Confirmation and those interested in brushing up on their Faith: Adult Catechism classes will be every other week at 7pm in the social hall.  Next class will be on Thursday, December 21.

 2018 FSSP Calendars - 2018 FSSP Calendars are now available in the back of the church for $15 per calendar while supplies last.
