Annual Lenten Appeal - The Bishop’s Annual Lenten Appeal is underway. The pledge cards are in the back of the Church on the piano. There are blank cards available for those who do not have a printed card. Please fill out the pledge card and place it in the Collection basket or mail it to the Office. Our Diocesan Assessment this year is $11,000.  The community must cover this amount.  Anything in excess remains with Mater Dei, so please be generous!  Last year we ended a few hundred dollars short.

Feast of St. Patrick - Dispensation - The Feast of St. Patrick is on this Friday, March 17.  Because St. Patrick is the patron of the diocese of Harrisburg, Bishop Gainer has granted a dispensation from the obligation to abstain from meat on this day.  He does recommend abstaining from meat on another day of that week in place of Friday.  Abstaining from meat is still obligatory for every other Friday.

Rosary for the Unborn - Following the 9AM Mass on Saturday, March 18, Fr. Eichman will lead the Rosary in front of the Hillcrest abortuary, 2709 N. Front Street.  We pray at the abortuary on the 3rd Saturday of each month
