Coffee and Donuts – There will be coffee and donuts after the 10AM Mass. 

Fr. Berg Visit – On Sunday, April 30, we will be blessed with a visit from Father Berg, Superior General of the FSSP.  He will be happy to meet with everyone following both Masses. 

Lenten Appeal – Goal Reached – We have reached our goal for the Lenten Appeal.  Any money above our goal will be given to Mater Dei.  Thank you for your generosity, and please do not forget to fulfill your pledge. 

Youth Group—April Meeting – Our next Youth Night will be outdoor games and a bonfire on Saturday April 22 from 6pm—9pm.  Remember to bring a snack, a friend, and RSVP to

Catechism Easter Break – There will not be Catechism Class on April 9th or April 16th.  Classes will resume on April 23rd.

Weekday Mass Schedule Note – There will be no Masses on April 25, 26 or 27.  Father will be attending the FSSP spring meetings that week.

Graduation Mass – We will have a High School graduation Mass for our parishioners on the evening of Friday, June 16.  The  regular 6:30pm Mass will be offered for the intentions of the graduates, and a reception for the families and their invited guests will be held in the social hall following Mass.  Contact Dawn Forbeck at (214) 205 – 2248 or for more information.

Rosary for the Unborn—Holy Sat – At 9am on Saturday,  April 15, we will pray the Rosary in front of Hillcrest abortuary, 2709 N. Front St, Harrisburg, Pa.  Our Priest will lead us in prayer.  Please note that because it is Holy Saturday there will be no morning Mass.  We will meet and begin the Rosary at 9am, an hour earlier than usual.  For more information contact:

Seminarians Help – Please welcome FSSP seminarian David McWhirter who is here to help us with the liturgy during Holy Week.  We are very grateful for his assistance.  We will also be joined by FSSP Deacon Graham Latimer for the Triduum and Easter.

Seminary Burse – Today there will be the monthly collection for the FSSP seminary in Denton, Nebraska.  Please use the special envelope included with your regular weekly collection envelopes.

Confessions During Holy Week – Confessions are heard before every Mass throughout the week.  Father will also hear Confessions after Mass when necessary.  Since opportunities are limited during the Sacred Triduum (see schedule below), please consider taking advantage of the Confession opportunities on Monday – Wednesday this week.

 South Dakota Summer Camp for Girls – The FSSP parish in Rapid City, South Dakota is sponsoring a Girls’ Camp in the Black Hills August 14-23, 2017 for girls ages 13—16.  For more information go to

Holy Saturday

  • 10:00pm Solemn Liturgy/Mass (No Confessions) (Fulfills Sunday Obligation)

Easter Sunday (Regular Sunday Schedule)

  • 8:00am Low Mass
  • 10:00am Sung Mass

There will be the traditional Holy Thursday devotion of having adoration of the Blessed Sacrament after Mass until Midnight.  This is the day Our Lord suffered in the Garden after the Last Supper when He asked His disciples to watch and pray with Him.  At midnight the Blessed Sacrament is removed from the church to represent Our Lord’s arrest and imprisonment.
