Easter Sunday

Happy Easter - No Coffee and Donuts - There will not be coffee and donuts today.

Fr. Berg Visit - On Sunday, April 30, Father Berg, Superior General of the FSSP will be visiting us.  He will be happy to meet with everyone following each Mass.  You are encouraged to come to the Social Hall for light breakfast items  following both Masses.

Youth Group—April Meeting - Our next Youth Night will be outdoor games and a bonfire next Saturday, April 22 from 6pm—9pm.  Remember to bring a snack, a friend, and RSVP to YouthGroup@MaterDeiPA.com

Catechism Easter Break - There will not be Catechism Class today.  Classes will resume next Sunday, April 23rd.

Weekday Mass Schedule Note - There will be no Masses on April 25, 26 or 27.  Father will be attending the FSSP spring meetings that week.

Seminarians Help - We are very grateful to Deacon Graham Latimer FSSP and seminarian David McWhirter for their help during Holy Week.  Please keep both of them in your prayers as they continue their formation at OLG Seminary in Denton, Nebraska.

Thank you - Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped clean and decorate the Church for Holy Week and Easter.

May 13 - Rosary - On May 13, the 100th anniversary of Our Lady’s appearance to the three children of Fatima, we will have a  brief meditation following the 9:00am Mass.  Immediately following the meditation we will pray a Rosary in the park across Front Street.

Mother’s Day Carnations - On May 14 after both Masses, carnations will be offered for a donation.  The proceeds will benefit two pro-life organizations in our area:  Pennsylvanians for Human Life and Undefeated Courage.

Adult Convert Class - Our Tuesday Evening Convert Class has been finished.  Please keep in your prayers the four persons who have completed their catechesis and will soon enter the Church.

Warm Weather Reminder - As the warmer weather returns transients will increase.  Remember that if any needy person approaches you at St. Lawrence requesting money or another type of material aid, do not give them any. Instead, direct them to Father, who knows the regulars in the neighborhood.

Easter Duty - Every Catholic has the obligation to receive Communion at least once per year during Eastertide which continues through Trinity Sunday.  In addition every Catholic is required to go to confession at least once per year.

Graduation Mass - We will have a High School graduation Mass for our parishioners on the evening of Friday, June 16.  The  regular 6:30pm Mass will be offered for the intentions of the graduates, and a reception for the families and their invited guests will be held in the social hall following Mass.  Contact Dawn Forbeck at (214) 205 - 2248 or Forbecks@comcast.net for more information.
