Women’s Evening Recollection

This Tuesday, July 6, there will be a Women's Evening of Recollection. The evening will begin with Mass with a sermon at 6pm, approximately 1 hour for social time, and a Holy Hour of Simple Adoration with Confessions available. The evening will end at 9pm. Priest Transfers

Fr. Eichman will be leaving Mater Dei at the end of July. He is being transferred to Our Lady of Guadelupe Seminary in Denton, NE to be the Director of Vocations and the formation of candidates.

Monday Night Basketball for Adults Any men interested in playing basketball on Monday nights, contact Fr. Eichman at materdeichaplain@gmail.com. We play from 6:30-8pm every Monday.

Farewell Reception for Fr. Eichman

There will be a farewell reception (light refreshments) for Fr. Eichman downstairs in the social hall after the 7:30, 9:30 and 11:30 Masses on Sunday, July 25.

Church Office Help Needed - Secretary Position Open

The Confraternity of St. Peter

The Confraternity of St. Peter is a group established to support the FSSP and its charism through prayers and sacrifices.  The people in this group pray a decade of the Rosary and special Confraternity prayer every day, and also have one Mass per year said for supporting vocations, the sanctification of priests and their pastoral endeavors.  If you are interested in joining this Confraternity, you can find more information here: https://fssp.com/confraternity-of-saint-peter/.

Young Adult Group - 2nd Annual Volleyball Tournament

The St. Catherine of Siena Young Adult Group is hosting their 2nd annual Volleyball tournament and barbeque this coming Saturday, July 10, starting at 2pm at Lingle Park in Harrisburg (1130 Pleasant Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111).  This event is open to young adults (ages 18-35), and we will be hosting young adult groups from other Latin Mass communities in the area.  We will first have our tournament between different parish teams, and then have a barbeque in the nearby pavilion.  If you are interested in coming, please RSVP by next Tuesday (July 6) to yag@materdeipa.com.

Mater Dei Parish Picnic

On August 8th, following the morning Masses, we will have the annual parish picnic at Roof Park (599 Lewisberry Rd, New Cumberland, PA 17070). Volunteer sign up sheets will be put out soon.

Mater Dei Chant Camp

This summer’s Chant Camp under the direction of Music Director Paul May is scheduled for July 12-16. The first four days will be spent in learning and preparing the sacred music for an 11am Sung Mass on the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Lunch and sports / games at Wormleysburg Park each day. Other instructors will include Fr Killackey and a FSSP seminarian from Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary.
