15th Sunday after Pentecost

September 5, 2021

FROM YOUR CHAPLAIN

It has been a wonderful first month for me as I have started to settle in here at Mater Dei as your new chaplain. I am very grateful for all of the prayers, well wishes, and invitations that I have received from so many of you. As I indicated to you last week, now is a time that especially requires prayer, and I urge you all to continue to offer rosaries for the FSSP and our apostolate here. Please consider signing up for a time to pray at www.fssp.de/rosarium. In addition, we have published the email addresses for the priests and staff on the front of the bulletin. Use email or phone if you need to reach us, and we will do our best to stay up to date (noting that I am a little behind right now, I would ask you for your continued patience as I get caught up). Over the course of the coming months and years (Deo volente), I look forward to getting to know each of you and doing my best to guide you to heaven. With your support, I hope the same for myself. - Fr. James M. Smith, FSSP
